

His intent in having the odd stones built at the Mill seemingly was to call something down from space, which was a success. In-game narration from The Ancestor also reveals how he seems to revel in the destruction he's brought to the man who only wanted his help. It's clear that neither The Miller nor his land really survived the comet. This damage is especially evident on The Miller himself, who stands much taller than a normal man and seems to be held together via some eldritch energy, with several pieces of him and his scythe simply floating in place or acting as though they're whole, even if the player can clearly tell otherwise. The area has been wrecked, and every living thing in the area, from the farmhands to plow horses, has become husks with crystal-like growths and parts of their skeletons showing. When players travel to the Farmstead, it is covered in eerie, glowing crystals giving off a blue light.
